National Institute for Media Studies (NIMS), which is a foundation based here in Ahmedabad, visualized and propelled by individuals having the passion to achieve and reach new frontiers.
NIMS is an institution founded by the aspiring individuals of our foundation – with a vision of bringing world class, and start-of-art media education to the Indian Sub-continent, in process contributing to the cause of providing the country with a new generation of young and enthusiastic individuals experts in their own right.
We offer courses in the field of Communication, Media Planning & Buying and Event Management. Our students have a Strategic advantage of having studied under an in-depth curriculum of international standards – which has been prepared under the guidance of our renowned advisors.
As of date - the institution provides the following courses:
Post Graduate Diploma in Communications (PICK)
Diploma in Communications (DICE)
Diploma in Media Planning and buying (DAMP)
Diploma in Event Management and Public Relations (DEMUR)
Post Graduate Diploma in Event Management and Public Relations (PGDEMPR)
Our courses focuses on today’s key management challenges, and offer our students the chance to develop in-depth knowledge of specialist areas, and thus shaping their career in the direction of their choice. All the above mentioned courses are Part time as of now duration of a year.
- > We are in the process of further expansion in the terms of launching new courses in the main stream education i.e. we would launching full time under graduate and post graduate courses.
All these courses are being designed by ex- officials of NCERT and various other professionals. For this we require a lot of infrastructure in the sense of faculty and other related staff, and also upgrade our existing facility to a campus this would real estate funding and also following by the necessary infrastructure to put in place.
We are looking for a fund of Rs. 15 to 20 crores for the above mentioned activities and also includes the cost of Facility of Campus at ahmedabad.
